Matt Mead says he thinks Dick McGinity will be a good president for the University of Wyoming.</p><p></p><p>McGinity had been serving as interim president, after Bob Sternberg resigned last year. Last week, the UW Board of Trustees decided to appoint him as the new president, without conducting a search.</p><p>Speaking to the Wyoming Press Association on Friday, Mead said McGinity is a good pick.</p><p>“He and I served together on the Wyoming Business Council,” Mead said.
