Laramie, Wyo. – A severe hail storm that centered on Gillette yesterday evening broke windows, damaged roofs and dented cars. The National Weather Service says the storm produced hail the size of golf balls, flying as fast as 60 to 70 miles per hour.
State Farm Agent Nancy Morgan says more than 400 auto claims were made to area offices this morning, and the calls keep coming. "This is going to be a storm where the numbers will be large enough that State Farm will assemble one of our national catastrophe teams," she said.
