State CHIP bill comes up today

Cheyenne, WY – The state Senate will discuss a change to the state children's health insurance program today. The bill is intended to raise the eligibility from 200 to 300 percent of the poverty level. But Friday the senate reduced the percentage to 250 percent. Senator Mike Massie of Laramie said the increased eligibility is needed because most people cannot afford insurance.
