Tokyo, Japan – The weeklong search on a remote Japanese island for an award-winning University of Wyoming poet will be scaled down. Japanese authorities say the search for Craig Arnold so far has yielded no clues.

Arnold was reported missing April 27 after he failed to return from a hike up a volcano. Around 40 people - including policemen, firefighters and rescue workers - were involved in the search for Arnold, along with search dogs and a police helicopter.
