Cheyenne, WY – The proposal to give film companies a rebate if they shoot in Wyoming made it out of a senate committee today. The state House already passed this bill. So, it only needs the approval of the Senate and governor. The chair of the Travel Committee, Senator Bruce Burns, says offering a rebate has a lot of potential to have a positive impact. This bill would only give a rebate to movie companies that spend 500 thousand in Wyoming during production.
