BLM Falls Short On Some Commitments

Pinedale, Wy – An internal document from the Pinedale office of the Bureau of Land Management shows the agency there has made over 800 commitments. These almost all came in documents outlining decisions the agency was making about oil and gas development. BLM spokesperson, Steven Hall, says they've kept 90 percent of these commitments. Conservation groups say these are broken promises. The document says the most prominent example of a commitment the BLM has not kept is tracking the amount of emissions of a certain gas.
