Laramie, Wyo. – A Rocky Mountain Power rate increase approved by the Wyoming Public Service Commission this week will generate an additional 44 million dollars for the company. That's less than half of the company's initial request of nearly 98 million dollars.
Laramie, Wyo. – In recent months, Wyoming residents' personal income has grown at the second fastest rate in the nation. Personal income grew at a rate of 2.6 percent in the first quarter of this year, according to the state's Economic Analysis Division. That's compared to a point 7 percent growth rate in the final quarter of 2010.
Laramie, Wyo. – The State Board of Land Commissioners will not consider proposed changes to the state's oil and gas lease form until August. The changes would better define what industry may or may not deduct from royalty payments.
