Larimer picked as RNC co-chairman

Washington, DC – The Republican Party has chosen longtime party activist Jan Larimer of Wyoming as co-chairman of the Republican National Committee.

The committee on Friday elected Larimer on the first ballot. As co-chairman, she holds the number two position in the national party.

Republicans on Friday also elected former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele as party chairman. Steele is the party's first black national chairman.

Dell Inc. settles with Wyoming

Laramie, WY – Wyoming consumers who believe they were deceived by the computer company Dell are now eligible for settlement funds. Dell has agreed to pay 25-thousand dollars to Wyoming residents after accusations the company made misleading financing and service offers to PC buyers.
