Planes Crash Mid-Air near Rock Springs, Killing 3

Rock Springs, WY – Authorities say two single-engine planes collided in mid-air yesterday, a few miles from the Rock Springs-Sweetwater County Airport, killing all three people aboard.

Sweetwater County sheriff's spokesman Dick Blust says local officials received 911 calls of an "explosion in the sky" at
close to 12:30 Sunday afternoon.

Blust declined to release additional information, saying authorities are still working to identify the victims and notify
family members.

Frontier Airlines May Negotiate with Schools like UW

Laramie, WY – Frontier Airlines says it might be able to work with the University of Wyoming and other colleges to restore travel benefits for large groups.

UW's athletic department started using other airlines when Frontier cancelled its group travel desk as part of its bankruptcy filings. The move will force UW to pay tens of thousands of dollars more during the upcoming travel season.

Frontier's Andrea Tollar says the corporate office decided that its group travel desk didn't bring in enough revenue.
