Adobe Town Drilling Remains A Concern

Laramie, Wy – Wyoming's Adobe Town could see a lot of drilling soon. The Bureau of Land management approved some 50 thousand acres to be opened up for drilling in the area which is located inside the Red Desert. It's an area many conservation groups want to be off limits to drilling. Biodiversity Conservation Alliance spokeswoman Maggie Schaefer says the Adobe Town area features artifacts and important wildlife. However, industry officials argue that the oil and gas is needed and they say drilling can be done with limited impact.
