Helena, Mont. – Starbucks Corp. says it will not be closing
any stores in Wyoming.
The Seattle-based coffee company identified 600 stores nationwide that it plans to close in a bid to boost its business and weed out unprofitable locations.
Neighboring Idaho is losing two stores. But Wyoming is among a few states that are keeping all of their Starbucks coffee shops.
Montana also is not losing any Starbucks locations. The cutbacks represent a turnabout from Starbucks' aggressive
expansion plans. The company has seen traffic and its profits decline recently as the faltering economy has led some consumers to question their spending on pricey coffee.
