Riverton, WY – Insurance company Allstate plans to locate a new claims center in Cheyenne. Randy Bruns with the region's economic development corporation, Cheyenne LEADS, says the center, which is slated to open in January 2008, could bring 200 new jobs. News of the coming claims center comes on the heels of the announcement of another new business for the capitol: a new supercomputing facility. The 60 million dollar facility will be housed on a multi-acre site in Cheyenne and run by the National Center for Atmospheric Research in partnership with the university of Wyoming.
