Big money raised in Wyoming superintendent race

CHEYENNE, wyo – Democrat Mike Massie and Republican Cindy Hill have each raised more than 100-thousand-dollars since the August primary in their race for the state's top education job.

Hill reports raising nearly $120-thousand during the last two months, while Massie has collected just over $100-thousand.

For the entire campaign, Hill has raised over $220-thousand-dollars and Massie nearly $180-thousand.

Over half of Hill's money came from loans or her immediate family, while, Massie reports less than 1% of his war chest comes from family contributions.
