Laramie, WY – A Teton County search and rescue team has located the body of a snowmobiler missing since Tuesday. Captain Jim Whalen with the Teton County Sheriff's office says searchers found the 21-year-old man from Riverton buried under 12 feet of snow. Whalen says it will take until early evening to remove the body. Searchers battled blizzard conditions today near Jackson as well as the danger of another avalanche to find the young snowmobiler. Using search and rescue dogs and long poles to probe the deep snowpack a team located the body late this afternoon. The victim Jessie Humphries was traveling in the mountains northeast of Jackson Tuesday morning when an avalanche overtook him.
