Budget Impasse Finally Ends

Cheyenne, Wy – An agreement on the state budget has been reached. It is now up to the members of the house and senate to vote on the deal and send it to the Governor.
A compromise was reached on local government funding that satisfied both sides. 57-point-five million will go to local government, but some of the funding for the program will come from business ready community funding. Another hangup surrounded funding for endowments, but they agreed to fund halfway between the house and senate positions Although Senator John Schiffer admits he's disappointed that they are spending too much overall, he thinks the compromise will do a lot of good for the state.
