Casper College Wants To Do More With Business

Casper, Wy – The Casper College President wants to work even more closely with business leaders in his community, to offer education and training. Doctor Walter Nolte returned from a U-W Senate Education Roundtable where such partnerships were discussed. Nolte says major corporations had interesting things to say about working with educational institutions. "That they often don't get asked by Colleges and University's to offer partnerships." Nolte adds that is why Casper College has hired a Dean at Casper College who will develop better relationships and partnerships. That job will begin next week.
Up till now, Nolte thinks they have done a good job working with businesses in Casper, but he believes more can be done. Both General Education and enhancing technical skills are ways Nolte thinks they can meet needs for this century.
