Cheyenne, WY – The city of Casper is ready to build a meth treatment center. They've done a fundraising campaign to pay for the project, but they are asking the state to fund part of cost of operating the treatment center. Today the state senate passed a bill containing that money. Senator Pat Aullman says that center is a priority, but this goes even further paying for regional treatment facilities for all addictions. The regional centers will be for mental health and substance abuse treatment. Some of those will be at existing hospitals, and the effort is to have better services available around the state.
