Laramie, Wy – Residents of Clark,Wyoming say a year old gas blowout is still causing the community problems. During testing by a company looking for gas benzene ended up in the local water supply and Wyoming's Department of Environmental Quality is monitoring the situation. Residents will be attending a meeting tonight to further discuss the situation. Clark Resource Council member Deb Thomas says that it is becoming a serious concern. Thomas says chemicals blew into the air as well and she thinks the D-E-Q should monitor that as well. Company officials are working with the D-E-Q to try and resolve the contamination problems.
