Laramie, Wy – Representatives of a company are touting Wyoming as the ideal location to start a plant and a new industry. The Managing Principal of Clear Energy Solutions, Dan Fessler, says the industry would turn coal into a cleaner diesel fuel. He says this technology is currently used in South Africa, and would be viable in the United States, in particular Wyoming because of the amount of coal in the state.
Fessler says they are not asking the government for any money, but are looking for investors. He says they need 32 million dollars to do site development and then another one point seven billion dollars to build a plant. Fessler says the site they chose is in Converse County.
