Cowboy Basketball Beats Alabama-Birmingham

Laramie, WY – The Cowboys basketball team has won three straight, the latest coming Sturday against Alabama-Birmingham 93-87. UAB was an NCAA tournament team last year, and Cowboy Guard Brad Jones says a win over such a team might help Wyoming make the tournament this season. Jones led all scorers Saturday with 35 points. Due to a scheduling quirk, the two teams play again Wednesday night in Alabama.
