Laramie, WY – The Wyoming Cowgirls ran out to an early lead and never looked back in beating New Mexico 70 to 55.
They snapped their modest two game losing streak by bolting out to an 18 to 2 lead, behind a solid defense and the red hot shooting of Jodi Bollerjack. Bollerjack had a game high 17 points, five of them three point shots. She says the key was getting off to a fast start.
Wyoming also scored 25 points off of turnovers. Head Coach Joe Legerski says it was important to get back on track, as the Cowgirls face another tough game this week at TCU.
