Rawlins, WY – The air-ambulance plane that crashed near Rawlins Tuesday night wasn't originally called on for the flight to Rawlins. A plane from Casper was called first to transport a patient to Casper, but was diverted to a more urgent case in Riverton. At that point, the plane from Mountain Flight Service in Steamboat Springs was called. The crash killed three people on board the plane and left a fourth hospitalized in serious condition. Federal investigators have yet to determine what caused the crash.
