Wyoming – This week, Wyoming legislators have once again defeated a bill that would change Wyoming's wolf management law. Wyoming and the federal government are at odds over how to manage wolves and whether Wyoming should declare wolves as predators outside protected zones. It's a critical issue for those in the livestock, hunting and conservation communities. But when others hear about wolves, their eyes glaze over. That is because in Cheyenne, it is viewed as the issue that will never go away, and when legislators debate wolf legislation it can take hours, which means other bills may not be heard.
