Cubin Will Vote Against CAFTA

Washington D-C – Republican Wyoming Congresswoman Barbara Cubin is part of a growing list of GOP house members who intend to vote against the Central America Free trade Agreement. Cubin fears that it would negatively impact Sugar Beet Growers in Wyoming. CAFTA is strongly supported by President Bush, but although Cubin normally votes with the President, she won't this time, because the impacts on Wyoming producers is too great. She says the biggest problem is that the bill has too many components, and she cannot support the entire package.
