Laramie, WY – If you made a New Year's resolution last night, the Wyoming Department of Health wants to help you keep it.
The Department is providing free or low-cost counseling to help Wyomingites quit smoking. They also offer private screenings where people can assess whether their substance use poses a health threat, and their website has resources for improving mental health.
DOH director Brent Sherard says the New Year is a great time to start a healthy habit. "The New Year," he says, "represents a starting point, and it really represents a commitment that each and every one of us can make to ourselves."
