PINEDALE, Wyo. – Three energy companies are postponing some
natural gas work in western Wyoming in hopes of reducing air
pollution amid elevated ozone levels.
Shell spokeswoman Darci Sinclair told the Casper Star-Tribune in
Saturday's editions that Shell, QEP and Ultra Petroleum took the
steps as state officials said ozone levels in Sublette County
exceeded federal air-quality standards.
The state Department of Environmental Quality and Wyoming
