Laramie, WY – State and University of Wyoming officials say they are saddened by the death of former Laramie legislator Kevin White, who officials say died of a heart attack at the age of 49. White served on the University of Wyoming Police Department for almost 30 years and served two terms in the State House of Representatives, beginning in 2005. He was working as a security officer for the Wyoming Supreme Court at the time of his death. Governor Matt Mead called White a tremendous public servant. U-W President Tom Buchanan says White helped make Wyoming a better place to live. White is survived by his wife Berlinda and four children.
