Gillette, Wy – The Wyoming parks department says a
Gillette man was killed when he fell from a cliff at Keyhole State Park in northeastern Wyoming.
State Parks spokesman Gary Schoene says 42-year-old Ross Garret Cleveringa stumbled and fell from a 50-foot cliff late
Cleveringa was returning to his campsite after visiting with nearby campers when he fell into a shallow, rocky section of Coulter Bay in Keyhole Reservoir.
Campers pulled Cleveringa from the water, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene. Schoene says the death has been ruled an accident and investigators are waiting for autopsy results to determine whether alcohol was a factor.
