Global leaders meet on hydrogen at UW

Laramie, WYO – Energy leaders from across the world will be on campus at the University of Wyoming starting Tuesday.

A conference on hydrogen will feature the benefits of this alternative source of energy, which only releases water vapor when it is burned.

The head of U-W's School of Energy Resources says Wyoming is an ideal place to use such technology because hydrogen can be extracted from coal.

Experts from as far away as India and Israel will attend the meeting.
