Cheyenne, Wyoming – The effort by four states to develop an electric transmission line will happen, if Wyoming has anything to say about it. Governor Dave Freudenthal says there are certainly some obstacles that could delay the creation of the line for ten years or so, but he contends that it is very doable.
Freudenthal says the best spinoff for Wyoming is the fact that power plants will need to be created. He says jobs like that are virtually permanent because the need for electricity never goes away. Freudenthal adds that it also will be a major benefit to Wyoming's coal industry.
