Wyoming – In the race to replace Governor Freudenthal, there are already three well-qualified Republican candidates, and the Speaker of the House, Colin Simpson, may soon join them. Gaining an advantage in this crowded field may come down to fundraising, which pays for advertising, travel and staff. In Wyoming, the public does not have access to the records showing where gubernatorial candidates are getting their money and how they're spending it - until a week before the election. That is, unless the candidates disclose that information voluntarily. Wyoming Public Radio's Renny MacKay reports.
