Cheyenne, Wy – Cheyenne officials are hoping they can at least save the outside part of some historic structures that were destroyed by a downtown fire. Architects are looking at the facades and Cheyenne Historian Bill Dubois remains hopeful because they are a big part of the city's past.
Dubois says several famous Wyoming figures had their offices where the fire burned. The blaze started in a bakery and burned for 14 hours before if was finally brought under control.
