Laramie, Wy – Many Wyoming residents joined the nationwide movement to support immigrant workers. Rallies took place in Jackson and Laramie.
Several hundred people turned out to the Laramie event, many of them high school students skipping afternoon classes for a rally and march. One of the organizers was Adrian Molina. He's a law school student at the University of Wyoming and says immigrants are contributing to society with their work and by paying sales tax on all their purchases.
There was a tiny group of counter protestors, who say illegal immigrants are burdening America's economy.
