After slipping for a few years, the Wyoming Immunization program has returned to 90-percent participation. Jon Jones heads up the program for the Wyoming department of health. He fears that some no longer believe that immunizations are important. But Jones says the reason for the lack of major outbreaks is because of the success of that success is because of immunization programs across the country. Jones says they need to do a better job of making the case for immunizations in the state. He says all school aged children are required to get vaccinated, unless they get a waiver.
