Cheyenne, Wy – A select committee of legislators gave approval to some 14 wildlife and conservation projects from across the state. They will be focused on protecting some specific threatened species ranging from sage grouse to mule deer. Funding will come from the Wyoming Wildlife and natural resources trust fund. Director Bob Budd says preserving species is what the fund is all about and he is excited that 14 major projects are being funded in just the second year of the program. The projects must still be approved by the full legislature.
