Leading Engineer Stresses Math and Science

Laramie, Wy – A recent report says that the United States needs to improve education and look to use new technology to create new jobs. The President of the National Academy of Engineering Bill Wulf was in Laramie to stress that this is an important time for the country to get serious about math and science. Wulf says improvement is needed long before children get to college. A number of the suggestions were outlined in the recent report called Rising About The Gathering Storm . Wulf spoke at U-W as part of the Graduate school's distinguished speaker series.
