Washington D-C – Republican U.S. Rep. Cynthia Lummis is announcing her bid to seek a second term in Congress. She will be in Cheyenne this afternoon and plans appearances
this weekend in Gillette and Casper.
Lummis was first elected to the job in 2008. She replaced fellow
Republican Barbara Cubin, who decided not to seek re-election. Lummis beat Democrat Gary Trauner 53 percent to 42 percent in the election.
Lummis made campaign appearances over the weekend in Worland,
Thermopolis and Evanston.
