Laramie, Wy – A government study shows more people than ever are using A-T-Vs. And at the same time there is a steady rise in the number of children injured while riding all-terrain vehicles. In Wyoming there is no age restriction to use a full sized A-T-V. So, to keep kids safe, the director of the State Trails Program, Tim Puskarich, says parents should ensure children can operate the vehicle safely and take it seriously because it is not a toy.
Puskarich says A-T-V training courses are offered in Wyoming. He says they can help all people prevent injuries not just children.
