Nancy Freudenthal sworn in

Cheyenne, Wy – Wyoming First Lady Nancy Freudenthal has been sworn in as a federal judge.
Freudenthal, wife of Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal, was sworn in
Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Clarence Brimmer at a private
ceremony in Cheyenne. A public swearing-in ceremony will be held
later.
The U.S. Senate confirmed Freudenthal as a federal judge last
month. The judgeship covers federal cases in Wyoming and the
sections of Yellowstone National Park in Montana and Idaho.
Mrs. Freudenthal has worked as a lawyer in private practice in
Cheyenne with the law firm of Davis and Cannon. Gov. Freudenthal
submitted her name along with the names of two other Wyoming
lawyers to President Obama for consideration for the opening.
