Natrona County gets tough on state park users

Laramie, WY – Natrona County has toughened the rules for behavior in the county park system.
Revisions approved by the county commissioners last week allow authorities to immediately kick out troublemakers for up to six months. Repeat troublemakers could be banned longer.
The worst consequence under the old rules was a $100 fine.
Other rule changes include charging $100 an hour if county equipment is required to pull a stuck vehicle from park roads, banning bungee jumping and launching rope swings from bridges and cliffs, and limiting camping to 10 days in any 30-day period.
