No Man Camp for Farson Despite Housing Shortage

Green River, WY – Sweetwater County commissioners have
rejected plans to set up a man camp in the middle of Farson.
The camp was proposed for a private lot in downtown Farson. About 125 construction workers would have lived there while working on a nearby pipeline.
Sweetwater County has a severe housing shortage due to booming gas development.
But county commissioners were concerned about having a man camp so close to Farson-Eden Elementary School. They also said that Farson does NOT have enough infrastructure to support a man camp.
