NTSB Wants More Training for Private Pilots

Wyoming – Much like driving in the rain or snow is more difficult, flying a plane in bad weather also has its obvious challenges. Since 1982, Wyoming has seen over 450 general aviation accidents and the percentage of those occurring in bad weather is considerably higher then the national average. Meanwhile, a recent National Transportation Safety Board study says many private pilots need more training to fly in poor conditions. Wyoming Public Radio's Aaron Alpern has more on that study
