Park County Man Will Be Evaluated

Powell, Wy – A Park County man accused of burning his
home down has been ordered to be committed to the Wyoming State
Hospital for another evaluation.
Forty-six-year-old Troy Brown previously pleaded guilty to arson
for the fire on December 8, 2005. But a psychiatric evaluation in
July concluded that Brown was unfit to stand trial and was a
serious risk to himself and others.
But Brown could yet stand trial if his mental condition improves
in the next three months.
In a letter hand-delivered to The Powell Tribune, Brown said he
believed he had a transmitter in his skull and that he had
uncontrollable rage.
