Wyoming – The tobacco industry tied itself to the West and to cowboys using icons like the Marlboro man and by sponsoring rodeos all over the country. But, this year a new law went into effect preventing tobacco companies from sponsoring sporting events. At Cheyenne Frontier Days the sponsor that stepped in to fill the void was the state Department of Health and its Quit Tobacco campaign. Wyoming Public Radio's Renny MacKay reports.
