Glendo, Wy – A severe ground blizzard in parts of Eastern Wyoming has ranchers wondering how many calves they've lost to the storm. Near Glendo today (Tuesday), rancher Larry Cundall was dealing with blowing snow and 12-foot drifts. Cundall knows the storm killed several of his calves... and he won't know how many more were buried until the ground blizzard clears. But he's looking at the bright side.
"Well we've already lost a few, but we've gotta have the moisture so that's the price you pay."
Cundall says he always expects big storms around the spring equinox, during calving season. He says that's life on the ranch.
