Laramie, Wyo. – Governor Dave Freudenthal says rising food and fuel costs will force the state to adjust budgets for many departments.
"For instance we built our budget for motor vehicles, for the state motor pool, on three-dollar-a-gallon gas. Similarly with regard to school districts, in terms of the funding formula, we pay 100 percent of the costs of transportation. That's gone up," Freudenthal explained.
The Governor said he the exact formula for getting the money to those departments will be worked out later.
