Romney Back In Wyoming

Cheyenne, Wy –

For the second time since August, Republican candidate for president Mitt Romney came through Wyoming. For some members of the audience, it was the first time they had ever seen a White House hopeful. On Sunday, Romney campaigned through Gillette and Riverton before his final stop in Cheyenne. Onlookers warmly received Romney's conservative message on immigration and government spending. Supporter and precinct committeeman Coleman Andrews says this was the first time many audience members have had the chance to shake hands with a candidate.
Back in August, the state's Republican Party moved its county conventions to January 5th, which has opened the door for many candidates to come through the state. Romney says he wants to win Wyoming. If he does, the governor says his campaign will have momentum leading into the New Hampshire primary.
