School Superintendent Pleased With State School Boards

Cheyenne, Wy – The Wyoming School Boards Association withdrew from a lawsuit against the state this week. The case is over funding of schools and there are still other groups that are going ahead with the suit. But, the head of education, Jim McBride, is pleased with the school boards decision.
This year the legislature increased funding for schools significantly. The state is now spending over a billion dollars a year on education.
