A University of Wyoming professor is missing in Japan. Craig Arnold is an award winning poet and creative writing professor. He is on a small island in southern Japan researching a volcano for a book he is writing. Arnold left to explore the volcano on Monday and has not been seen since.
Peter Parolin is a colleague of Arnold's. He says Japanese officials had planned to call off the search, but work from the president of U-W, the Wyoming Congressional delegation and friends and supporters of Arnold's mean the search will go on, at least until Sunday.
