Grand Teton National Park – Grand Teton National Park officials say they still have found no tracks or any sign of two hikers who have been missing inside the park since this weekend. Park Spokeswoman Jackie Skaggs says searchers have looked in two areas where avalanches occurred over the weekend, but have found no sign of 27 year old Walker Kuhl or 31 year old Gregory Seftick. Skaggs says the two took their skis and had planned on climbing up Garnet Canyon on Saturday.
While searchers have focused on that area, she says search crews are considering other options.
"Did they camp and try to explore some of the pinnacles and peaks that are in and around Grand Teton where people typically climb. Which means maybe they are higher up and in some of the rocky terrain above where we are looking. We are also looking in some of the broad big snowfields. There's a lot of places where somebody could be."
Skaggs says search crews have used dogs, helicopters and high tech equipment in an effort to find the hikers.
